Your biometric data is stored exclusively in your device's secure enclave — Apple's Secure Enclave or Android's Trusted Execution Environment — and is never transmitted to Citi servers.

The Citi Mobile Token is integrated directly into the app, eliminating the need for a separate hardware token or authenticator application. When you log in with biometrics, the app simultaneously generates a cryptographic token that validates your session.
